Pipe & Duct Fabrication

Metro Mechanical Supply is Oklahoma’s unsurpassed provider of lock-seam, high pressure Spiral pipe, Oval Spiral pipe and fittings. Our complete line of standard commercial and Industrial Spiral pipe, fittings, and custom fabrications are manufactured to meet all standard specifications and built to meet or exceed all SMACNA (Sheet Metal and Contractors National Association) standards. Our specialized tooling allows us to fabricate 16 GA to 28 GA spiral pipe as small as 3 inches and as large as 102 inches. You can expect and will get the best prices, quality, and on-time completion, whether you need a only a few fittings or a complete job lot for a large contract project.

Rectangular Duct & Fittings are fabricated to the latest SMACNA standards using prime grade, G-90 lock forming quality galvanized steel. Fittings are made from as drawn by contractor, shop drawings, or per mechanical engineers plans. Each duct can be labled by unit or zone for ease of placement at the jobsite. Rectangular duct has a variety end connections available that include S & Drive, Ward J Flange, Ductmate 45 connectors, or Transvers Duct Connector. It is most common to see rectangular duct fabricated with a 1″ internal insulation. Other options are bare uninsulated, 1/2″, 1 1/2″, or 2″ insulation. We can also provide you with Dual Wall duct where required with either a perforated or solid inner shell.

Roof Curbs

Standard Features:

  • Custom made to each unit model number or specifications given
  • G90 galvanized steel construction 18GA up to 10GA thickness (Unit size dependant)
  • 14” typical height
  • Solid welded seams
  • Internal rails for supply and return air plenums
  • Pitched to match roof slope
  • 6” flange at base for roof sealing requirements

Optional Features:

  • Height adjusted as required
  • Insulated
  • Integrated ribs to match metal roof
  • Treated Wood nailer
  • Cricket for water diversion

Curb Adapters

When given the manufacturer and the model number of both the existing rooftop unit and the new rooftop unit, the curb adapter will be designed to drop onto the existing roof curb and the new unit will rest on the structurally rigid curb adapter.

Features:

  • G90 galvanized metal 18 ga up to 10 ga (size dependant)
  • A solid welded perimeter structural shell
  • Welded internal supply transition or divider
  • Solid bottom with holes for supply and return positioned to match old unit curb
  • Fully insulated with 1” insulation
  • Adapter height will be as short as possible, but the height is determined at the design stage as larger airflows with radical offsets will require taller adapters.
